Who We Are

As the founder of FTT in 1978, Arthur Brook established the business as the first privately owned lift truck training company in Canada. FTT was then instrumental in supporting the development of the first lift truck training standard. (B335-94) We have continued to be the market leaders in Health and Safety Training in Canada and are the standard that many still compare themselves to today.

At FTT, our mission has always been to provide our customers with the best training possible, through the most knowledgeable instructors in the health and safety training industry, and in particular, we have focused on supporting the needs of what we like to call, “The Government Market Sector”.

We have always worked tirelessly to offer the highest level of training, but also have a reputation for offering training programs that are enjoyable for participants to attend. Our focus is on safety, and is always at the forefront of our programs, but a little fun always helps along the way in the classroom. Our knowledgeable instructors also help implement systems and procedures tailored to meet our client’s specific needs and we strive to deliver a level of service that exceeds the expectations of all our customers.
